Big Wind Turbine
We are interested in the possibility of building one or more big wind turbines, appropriately sited, with clean energy going to the grid and profits being returned to our local community. An example of this is already in place at Lawrence Weston. It is a UK first. We would like to be second!
Flooded Mines!
We are fascinated by the possibility that water from our flooded mines might be used to heat our homes and are watching with great interest the research being done into this possibility.
Community Battery Feasibility.
Some communities are experimenting with community batteries, allowing everyone on their grid to benefit from off peak electricity. We will explore the feasibility of this.
Underplanted Solar ....
We are on the lookout for unwanted and otherwise useless pieces of land that could be the site of a solar farm. We are aware that solar farms can now be underplanted with flowers to attract pollinators, so this would be a win/win for nature.
